FIRST PEER LEARNING ACTIVITY & CONSORTIUM MEETING OF LADESE PROJECT

On September 21-22-23, project partners participated in the first peer learning activity & consortium meeting held at the town hall of the Municipality of Vari – Voula – Vouliagmeni (Greece).

In particular, Envolve participated as a lead partner in the project scheme.

Representatives from the Municipality of Vari – Voula – Vouliagmeni (https://www.vvv.gov.gr), the Municipality of ‘s-Hertogenbosch through the organization Weenwe XL (https://www.weenerxl.nl/) and the Province of Rimini (https://www.provincia.rimini.it/) and the organization FIN PROJECT (www.fin-project.com) were involved in the discussions, too.

The project goal is to create municipal services in each country that support social entrepreneurship by exchanging know-how and experiences.

In order to reach this objective, service design methodology and tools were deeply explained during the sessions. Moreover, a comparison between national contexts and legislative frameworks regarding social economy was carried out.

The first phase of the pilot actions was implemented through the joint problems definition and stakeholder mapping in each project area.

During the consortium meeting the next steps were agreed, with each partner committed to explore local social economy ecosystem using the lens proposed by service design.

In November, the partners will meet again to proceed with the activities in ‘s-Hertogenbosch (The Netherlands).

SECOND PEER LEARNING ACTIVITY & CONSORTIUM MEETING OF LADESE PROJECT

Following the first meeting in Greece, hosted by the municipality of Vari Voula Vouliagmeni, on November 15-16-17 the LADESE project partners carried out the second Peer Learning and Consortium Meeting in the Dutch town of ‘s-Hertogenbosch.

Peer Learning activities were developed to consolidate the co-development of the pilot actions in the Netherlands, Greece and Italy, as well as for sharing best practices and experiences among partners regarding the use of service design.

It is clear the potential relevance that this innovative approach can bring to the social and solidarity economy ecosystem, especially for public authorities looking for effective ways to support user-centred social services.

Local WEENER XL members presented their initiatives which represent best practices in terms of social and job reintegration and all project partners had the opportunity to visit their headquarter and working spaces.

The Consortium Meeting was developed through intense and productive discussions among partners in order to set up roles and responsibilities for the Action Plan and the Design Option Paper elaboration.

The partners have worked in these months in a collaborative way, jointly developing project activities. The next appointment is in April, when the third meeting will be held in Rimini, organized by Finproject with support of the Province of Rimini.
